Elfberg, 555 North 15th street, reported to city police Saturday that four tires, tubes and rims had been stolen from her car. She placed the theft at something more than two weeks ago. Oregon Men Loan Boats To Patrols WASHINGTON, Feb. 14-P) Nearly 400 boats formerly used as pleasure craft have been loan ed to the coast guard for the du ration of the war and now are engaged actively in patrol work, the maritime commission report ed today. Representing a wartime con tribution of owners in 31 states, the District of Columbia and Alaska, these boats supplement the 23 yachts given outright by their owners to the coast guard, navy or maritime commission training service. Some' of the boats loaned are palatial, yachts. - Others range down to power boats. Some are hunting big game submarines.
