Valley Farmers BONESTEELES Degrees of Orchard and Crop Damage Due to Damage to orchards and crops as a result of last week's weather varies considerably throughout the county depending greatly on the type of trees, their previous condition and the heaviness of the ice, according to County Agent Robert E. Rieder. Most serious damage seems to be to the peach trees, Rieder said, and although some severe losses have been reported in most cases future yield will not be seriously curtailed. Cane fruits are unhurt and the extent of loss in prune orchards depends to a great extent oh the care that has been given them previously. Most fall field crops were not affected by the thaw, W. G.
