Whlt Cloth Wanted Contri
butions of old sheets, white shirts
and other good-sized pieces of
white cotton cloth are sought by
Marlon county chapter, American
Red Cross, for use as emergency
bandages, it has been announced
at chapter offices. Squads of first
aid workers have been organized
in every district of Salem and
each squad's captain is to have in
his or her home packages of clean
and sterilized emergency band
ages. Only requirement for gifts
of this sort to the organization is
that they be clean, white cotton
or linen; a committee of women
is to sterilize and prepare the
Danaages. Similar squads and
