Tuesday Morning, Norember 25, 1941 Co Far Financial Stock Market Trade Falters Fast Start Fails to Last; Early Gains Cancelled Near Close THEW YORK, Nov. 24-(V- Stocks faltered in Monday's mar ket after an early modest upturn based apparently xn the coal strike peace and hopes for a quick settlement of the railway wage dispute. CfflCAGO, Nov. 24--Grain prices closed rracuonally lower Monday but soybeans, which were up as much as 3 cents at one time, finished higher. Grains were depressed partly by lagging flour demand, hedging, particularly in corn, and general trade uncertainty associated with reports about price control legis lation developments in Washing ton. Liquidation of December contracts of grain, which were weakest in most pits, also was a disturbing factor. Delivery of actual commodities can be made on these contracts beginning next Monday. Wheat finished - lower than Saturday, December $1.14-1.14, May $1.19-.
