If was at St Paul's Episcopal church that Miss Garnjobst received her golden circlet from I f ; Mr. Spears. The time was 8:30 o'clock and the Reverend .George ."Herbert Swift read the double ' ring service before a large gath ' ering of friends and relatives. The church was decorated with beautiful arrangements of white " chrysanthemums a n d . w o o d wardia'fern oh either "side of the chancel fail and the' altar. Many cathedral tapers' cast a soft glow - in the sanctuary. Candelabras were used, . at the chancel and single candles were arranged in the windows. On the arm of her father, Dr. Julius Herman; Garnjobst, the tall, blonde bride proceeded down the center aisle which was tied with white' satin streamers. Gowned In Ivory . ' Of ivory, faille taffeta was the handsome bridal gown fashioned on princess lines. The full skirt was gathered onto the torso length bodice and terminated in a train. The fitted waist was embellished with tiny hows of the faille and trie neckline was high with a yoke of fine net with niching ;. insert. . Her ; 'veil of illusion net was fingertip length and fell from a cluster of bouvardia caught . in i the back of her coiffure. She carried a cascade of white or chids, gardenias and bouvardia. She wore a single strand of pearls belonging to her mother, a gift of Dr. Garnjobst on their first wedding anniversary. Preceding the bride was Miss Sybil Spears, the maid of honor and sister of the groom. Her at tractive frock was of claret wine velvet designed princess style with fitted bodice and very full gathered skirt. The short sleeves were edged .in scallops and the neckline was sweetheart shape. The waist was enhanced with two rows of scallops. In her hair she wore a Juliet cap of matching carnation petals and carried an arm bouquet of deep red American Beauty roses and white bouvardia. Father Is Best Man Mr. Frank H. Spears, sr., stood with his son as best man and seating the guests were Mr. James B. Young, Dr. Ralph E. Homecoming at Willamette Highlight of the weekend for Willamette university students is the 20th annual homecoming cel ebration and the centennial ob servance of the university. The senior class members will be hosts for a sports dance after the Willamette-CPS game to night in the gymnasium and an informal get-together for alumni at Chresto cottage will also fol low the game.
