day morning at Gervais by the
Marion county department of
health. A milk and food handlers
clinic will be held at the health
office Monday afternoon between
1:30 and 3 o'clock. Physical ex

at the Eugene Field school in Sil-
verton on Tuesday and an infant
clinic will be held at the health
office from 10 to 11 o'clock in
the morning on Thursday. The
regular immunization clinic will
be conducted Saturday morning

Shoplifter Sought City police
Saturday night were watching for
a middle-aged man who early Sat
urday afternoon took a mackinaw
coat from the Montgomery Ward
store, was followed by Al idassen,
clerk at the store, dropped the
coat in an alley and fled.
Cladeks in Accident Mr. and
Mrs. W. A. Cladek of 1435 North
18th street returned to Salem Sat
urday instead of proceeding to
their beach home at Oceanlake
after a car driven by Otto F. May,
route 1, Dallas, had forced their
automobile into a bank six miles
beyond Dallas, Cladek said Sat
urday night May was turning into
a side road, according to Cladek,
who reported that fenders of his
car were mashed and that Mrs.
Cladek received several minor
cuts and bruises in the accident
which occurred at 4:30 p. m.
