ANGEL The Catholic Daughters of America,' meeting at the clubroora of Si Mary's school Monday night, decided to sponsor, jointly with the American Legion auxiliary and the St Anne so ciety, a card1 party for the benefit of hot lunches for school children Thursday night, October 4. Mrs. Joseph Lebold, Mrs. M. J. LeDoux, Mrs. John Dlehl and Mrs. Albert Diehl were appointed to represent the Daughters on- the general committee. "I " ' ' - ' The hot lunches were tried as an experiment last jyear and proved so successful that they are to be a permanent feature. ' ' : On October , 6, the members were told, there will be a meeting sponsored by the county extension program to Interest local women in home econ6mics. Not only the CDA but all women In the com munity are urged to attend. The Oregon City court has been invited as special guests to the social reception of new mem bers, slated for October 27.
