To Roundup Members of the!
Oregon Mounted Posse, Governor's
' Guard, have been " called ' to en
. train at 6:30 tonight at the South
ern Pacific station lot Pendleton.
Twenty-four Marion county men
will ride at the head of the parade
with the governor each day of the
roundup. Governor Charles A.
Sprague and party are to accom
pany the posse to Pendleton. The
group returns to Salem Sunday

Man Missing Pat Shattuck, 40,
subject to mental lapses while suf
fering from a nervous breakdown.

downtown Salem, E. G. Shattuck,
the father, has reported to police
The . missing man, last seen at
Broadway and Jefferson, wore a
dark coat and cap, blue bib over
alls and white tennis shoes. He
is 5 ffet 7 inches tall, weighs ap
proximately 150 pounds and has
light brown hair. Persons know
ing where he may be found are
asked to notify city police or his
father, the latter at 1337 North
Winter street. Reported missing
since Sunday is James Monaco,
146 Gerth, West Salem.
