Isolated advances of one to two points were in evidence. Wall street still was wondering how markets eventually would re spond to the president's 'unlim- Ited emergency' decree. Bulletins telling of British reverses at Crete dimmed bullish sentiment to some extent. . ' . The Associated Press average of 60 stocks finished with an ad vance of .1 of a point at 39.7. Transfers totaled 345,000 ; shares compared with, 343,970 Thursday, Up one to two were Dow Chem ical, Du Pont, Union Carbide, Sav age Arms, NY Shipbuilding, Ches apeake & Ohio and American Car & Foundry. ' y On the downside were Chrys-r ler, General Motors, Santa Fe, Sears Roebuck, Standard Oil (NJ), Texas Corp., and J. C. Pen ney. .".!''.'. !
