Piis Easter morning will find thousands of the .

to church, eager to show appreciation of the many . . . .

tags that have somehow been allotted to us.
And after the church services, devoted to spiri
tual rejoicing, families will "gather around the table
to enjoy dinner together. Easter Is no time for enter- ,
tcdning company, but it's the day when Intimate
groups gather around a family board, to enjoy the
' " company of those they've known and loved forever.
This year many a family will thank Its lucky
star for ancestors who braved the wild Atlantic to
find peace and quiet In this new world, j
Mr. and Mrs. Daniel J. Fry, Jr.. will be among
those entertaining at dinner today. Their daughter,
Marylee, will be home from the University of Ore
gon. The dinner will honor her birthday and that
of Mr. Milton L. Meyers. Others at the table will be
Dr. and Mrs. R E. Lee Steiner, Dr. and Mrs. Milton
Steiner and children, Jean. Ann and Milton Lee,
of Portland, Mrs. Walter Denton, Mrs. Milton L.
..Meyers and Dan Fry.
Dr. and Mrs. H. J. Clements will have I as their
Easter dinner guests, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Campbell
of Oakland, Ore., Dr. and Mrs. Charles Campbell
and their two children. - i
Mr. and Mrs. William McGilchrist, jr., will enter
tain with a family dinner and their out-of-town guests
will be their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs.
Peter Buck, of Portland.
