Lebanon News
LEBANON , Francis .Phelps,
while making repairs for the
Mountain States Power company,
came in contact with a. hot wire
and as he slumped away from it
on a ladder, fell, breaking the
large bone in his right leg. He
was taken to the Lebanon hos
pital and later was able to be
moved to his home. He was not
burned. . ; :
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Southard
left Friday for ai three day trip
to Sheridan, Ocean Lake and To
ledo, where she visited units of
the American Legion auxiliary.

Edwain Johnson went to Cali

weeks. He has a contract for In

LEBANON Funeral services
were held Tuesday at the Evan
gelical church in Sweet Home
for Mrs. Maria Susanna Storey,
who died Sunday. She was born
52 years ago In Newman Grove,
Nebr., but was brought to Ore
gon when a small child when
her family settled in Rose'burg.
She was married there in 1908
to P. W. Storey, who with three
daughters and one son survive
her. She also leaves one grand
child, three brothers and three
sisters. The family has lived in
Sweet Home for the past 38 years.
