will be receired at the Eugene
Field building from I to 11 a. m.1
on February IS, on the morning
of the show and that the doors

A number of unusual demon
strations, as well as two program
features; bare been arranged for.
The program features include a
rope making demonstration by
Silrerton - Future Farmers of
America at 4 p. m., and a foreign
costume and bathing suit review
at 8:30. " Fred Sears Is arranging
a tumbling act.
' Mrs, Kenneth Hewitt, who is in
charge . of . room . settings, reports
' that she will haTe an early Ameri
can bedroom, a Victorian living
room, and a Chinese room. Miss
Elizabeth Klelnsorge will arrange
a modern Hawaiian table setting.
Antiq net china, silver and glass
: exhibit is in charge of Mrs. Charles
Hoyt, while J. D. Drake Is arrang-
ing an exhibit of early Silrerton
- days. Reminiscent of horse and
. buggy days will be the 90 bridle
- rosettes to be exhibited by Mrs.
' John Kerrlck of Salem.
" Mrs. Fay1 Bragg of Silrerton will
demonstrate wearing, Mrs. A. Te
gerson of Independence will card
: wool and also hare an exhibit on
Collection of Norwegian handwork.

tions, wood blocking, quilts, bed
spreads, are among the exhibits

to visit a session of the house of representatives Wednesday
morning. Polk County Representative Lyle D. Thomas, for
mer local school principal, asked that the courtesy of the
house be extended to the pupils and Mr. and Mrs. Dashiell.

He is an operator at the Bonne

Magic for School
PRATUM Sylvus. the magi
cian, with his Hall Brothers va
riety show, appearing at the Pra
tum school last Friday night, pre
sented a program to the many
who braved the fog to attend.
The Juggling clown, as well as
the huge fiddle, seemed of spe
cial appeal to the youngsters.
Other acts presented were the
Chinese linking rings, the Rus
sian rope escape, mental magic,
and a bewildering exhibition with
colored silks. "Dick and Gordy"
with their electric guitars were
greatly enjoyed.
The show was sponsored by the
local Parent Teacher association
for the benefit of their 4H schol
arship fund.
