The senate banking committee Introduced a measure to permit banks to close Saturdays, and pro viding that applicants for bank charters shall state the classes of stock they propose to issue. County courts would be per mitted 'to create county forests, which could be sold only by vote of the people, by a bill introduced by Sens. W. E. Walsh (R-Coos) and F. M.Franciscovich (R-Clat-sop).
