J-(V-Wek. ft ess of corn. lack of demand and Absence of constructive news de velopments combined today to tarn the wheat futures market Into a dull session with closing price near the low points of the Wheat finished the day an chanced to cent lower than the - previous close, December M-tt. May S-S7. Trading was at an extremely low pace. December wheat at one - time touched 90 or cents sbove Monday's final price, bat could not hold the ad vance. Elevator interests were reported moderate buyers of the nearby future against sales of May wheat at around lk cents dif ference. A slightly improved demand for flour was reported from the . southwest but It failed to enliven mill demand for wheat in public elevators. The visible supply of Canadian wheat last week totaled 463.809, 00 bushels, an all time high, compared with 458,139,000 on No vember 22, or an Increase of 5, S70.000 during the corresponding week a year ago, the total de creased 10,014,000 bushels. Over seas shipments of Canadian wheat, excluding flour, for the week end ed November 28 were 1,016,000 bushels, compared with 3,580.000 for the previous week and with 5,337,000 for the same week a year ago. Silo,' Robot Man Will Appear Here According to Lloyd Jones, man ager of Good Housekeeping, Inc., electrical appliance stor, 4 53 Court street, "Silo," the Zenith robot man will appear at all Zenith deal ers stores in Salem all day tomor row. "Silo" moves, walks, responds to ' instructions, demonstrates radios, turns them off and on, changes stations, yet never speaks or alters facial expression. He re mains perfectly motionless for minutes at a time and can stand with arm outstretched for periods believed beyond human endur ance. Watchers have reported seeing a fly alight" in the corner of "Silo's" eye and remain there without causing a single change in his set visage. "Silo" shows human Intelligence, yet has all the characteristics of a robot. Webert Appointed On Selectee' Board URORA Louis Webert has been appointed and has qualified as an associate member of the local advisory board for the reg istrant selective service system.
