Hi-ho Mice! 'Here It is another
Saturday and time for another
Mickey Mouse stage show. My my,
how time flies. Summer's over
and fall Is taking over. It won't
be long before football will reign
again, and boy, won't we have
fun!
MMC
Speaking of fun, last week's
stage show seemed to make quite
a hit. Captain Kidd and his slaves
furnished entertainment deluxe.
Orville Beardaley, as usual, came
through with a swell number en
titled "I'll Never Smile Again,"
and his brother Rubs did a swell
job on the piano. Bobby Hage
dorn, the Mickey Rooney and what
have you of Mickey Mouse, came
through with a swell new patriot
ic song, "I Am an American." Also
on the entertaining side was the
contest which we had. Remember
rMice, some of these contests which
we hold on the stage would be
good at various parties so why
don't you remember them when
you run out of things to do. I
must say that I was proud the way
everyone sang the community
'ClnA Ptosa Imnrlfi " It virrnil.
ly swell and shows the spirit you
Mickey Mouse members have.
MMC
Say Mice, this week's show is
really going to be swell. As you
know yesterday ended the big Ar
buckle King essay contest on "Pi
rates." The winning essays have
been selected and the prizes will
be awarded on the stage today. We
will also read the two winning es
says on the stage as weU as the
runnersup. If you have written
an essay be sure and attend MM,
because you never can tell you
may be the lucky one. On the en
tertainment side, we are going to
have Leotine Lebold, who will sing
a new number, "W hispering
Grass." Bob Mundt (and Keith
Hoppes, your favorite comedians,
will also be here as well as Ra
mona Spence, Eileen Fisher, and
Betty Lou Edwards.' We will also
have. Mice, a special treat Pat
Melsinger and her new accordion.
By the way Mice, some may be in
terested In knowing that Bobby
Hagedorn will be the new official
Mickey Mouse song leader. If any
one is capable of singing "over"
the rest of you, It's Bob but,
that's what we want and ' that's
what we've got. At any rate, to
day's show is packed full of fun
and entertainment, so all of you
be here and get In on It,
. ; MMC
As the junior G-men would say,
"Calling all Mice, calling all Mice,
get your address checked imme
diately that is aU." All you have
to do Is sea. the MM secretary in.
the lobby; of the theatre and tell
her any change that has been
made. Also, Mice, remember the
membership drive that we are hav
ing. Bring in as many new MM
members as yon can. Let's really
make this am outstanding club.
MMC
The screen fare for today. Mice,
Is "Mummy's Hand." Then too,
we are going to have, "Argentine
Nights," with the Ritx Bros, and
the Andrews sisters. So until 1,
WES, Mickey Mouse Chief.
