Is Result
GERVAIS Little interest was
shown In the election in school
district No. 76 held Monday night.
There were six votes east for di
rector. J. C. Adams, the retiring
chairman, received three votes
and B. J. Brows, three. It is not
yet decided which will be declared
elected. B. B. Barner was re
elected clerk. !
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Manning at
tended a family reunion of her
family held Wednesday at the
home of her brother, Stanley Pll
lete at Gladstone. Those present
were the mother, who lives In
Portland, a brother, Herman of
San Diego, Calif., a Bister, Sister
Dorothy Ann of Seattle; Mr. and
Mrs. E.'Pillette of Newport and
Mr. and Mrs. B. J. PUlette of
Camas, Wash. .
! Mrs. P. H. Cannard. who was
taken to a Portland hospital four
weeks -ago suffering with pneu
monia In a severe form has re
turned home and Is recovering
satisfactorily. : '

atended the state meeting of the
Oregon Bankers association held
at Gervais Sunday, ; Monday and
Tuesday of this 'week. Wadsworth
was reelected president of , the In
dependent bankers at a breakfast
held Tuesday morning.

for a month with her grandmoth
