SUBLIMITY The officers sad members ot the Holy Name so ciety of Starton are making pre parations for being hosts to the Willamette ralley league of 'the Holy Name societies of Oregon, which will hold its bi-monthly meeting in the parish hall of the St. Mary's' parish, Stayton, on Sunday night, NoTember 2. t The program will start with usual church services at St. Mary's at 7:10, followed by the business meeting and program in the parish halL - Following snort business ses sion, the feature of the meeting will be .an address by Joseph M. Portal, member of the American Artists Professional league, who will relate his experiences In traveling the globe and outline conditions as he sees them In Europe. Last year he spent six months traveling that continent, ; covering over 25,000 miles of land and sea. Rev. Father Sniderhorn, pastor of Stayton parish, announces other entertainment and a luncheon fol lowing the meeting. The Wil- lamette "Valley Holy Name league, organized some six years ago at its Initial meeting in Stayton, is com posed of the parishes of Saiem, Shaw, Sublimity, ML Angel. Stay ton, Scio, Jordan, Corvallis Leb anon, Gervais, Woodburn, St. Paul, Silverton, St Louis, Canby and Hubbard. Officers of the league are William Bliven, Salem, as president; Edward J.
