Snider, manager of the plant in) West Salem, announced yesterday. Acreage was reduced 30 per cent this past season because of a large 1938 carryover. The cooperative expects to wind up its season by Saturday night, when the last of the corn pack will be finished. This year was the first year corn has been packed there. Although quality was curtailed by drought condl tions when the crop was develop ing, the quality has been good, according to Snider.
