Services Are Held For Lillian Sims SCIO Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Sims, 76. were held at the Christian church in Scio Thurs day afternoon, with the Rer. V. L. Loucks of the local Baptist church in charge. Burial ras in Shel- burn cemetery. j Mrs. Sims bad been an active worker in the Scio Christian church for many years. -She had also served on the local board of education for some time. She was born In Kansas July 20, 1863, but ha.d lived in Scio and vicinity since she was 15. Survivors Include the sons W. 2., Scio, Ted, Medford, Kenneth, Corrallls, and Errol, Willamina: daughters. Mrs. Lloyd Gilchrist, California, Mrs. Lloyd Harrison. Nehalem. Mrs. Hutchinson. Port land, and Mrs. G. W. Flook. Mill City. W. A. Gilkey, near Scio, and L. E. Gilkey, Salem, are broth ers of the deceased. Mill City Church Group Entertains MILL CITY Members of the Brownsville C. E. society; of the Presbyterian church were visitors at the C. E. society meeting of the Mill City church Sunday night.
