start of the 10th western Oregon
Irrigation tour.

cil, hinged today on a reply ex
pected tomorrow from the Asso
ciated Restaurants of Portland.
A proposed 10 per cent wage
cut' was refused by the union.
Carl T. Fredericks, council secre
tary, charged owners had Insert

ion accepted a five, per cent cut
last winter with the understand
ing It would be restored In May.
Not all restaurants made the
reduction. Fredericks said, some
had restored it and some had not.
