Be Held Friday
Commencement week at Sa
lem high school will be climaxed
by the annual Junlor-Senlot
prom which will be held Friday
night in the school gymnasium..
Bud Mercer and his orchestra
will play for dancing between
9 and 12! o'clock.
An unique tiecoratire scheme
has been i planned to follow the
theme. ''Deep Purple," inspired
by the popular songs of t L e
same name. The decoratire mo
tif was originated by Miss Mary
Chamberlain and Miss Ernestine
Lents. Unique wall decorations,
lighting and a false celling will
add to the effect.
At 10:30 o'clock intermission
will be held and the grand march
will be led by the senior class
president. At this time the se
