The total . registration ex ceeds that of a year ago and 21 schools hare entered. The contests will be held In .Waller and Eaton halls with the latter headquarters. The public is inrited to hear these contests. Registration will close Friday at S o'clock with the first rounds of interpretations, - orations and ex tempore in he afternoon. In the evening, round two will be held for the various events with an nouncement of results of prelim inary; rounds. Saturday morning the semi-finals will be held, with the finals in the afternoon, begin ning at 1 o'clock. The time for the rounds of speaking in the Junior series will be ' arranged and an nounced after the complete regis tration this afternoon.
