at his home In Marion, was for
40 years a resident of Jefferson.
He moved to Marion 20 years
ago. He was associated with the
late C. M. Smith in the mercan
tile; business, and was also' a
rural-mall carrier.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs.
Vtola Pate Russell; daughter,:
Mrs. A. E. Edwards of Seattle
and a sister Mrs. Lucy Welkbn
