of an interesting affair Wednes- r
day night when the Salem alnm
nae of the sorority ero enter
tained at the annual Chrfctmaj
party. Hostesses for the affair
were Mrs. Merrill Ohling, Mrs.
Paul Morse, Mrs. George Scales
and Miss Caroyl Braden.
- The rooms were festive with
Yuletide decorations aud the
mantel over the fireplace was
arranged with a Christmas scene.
During the evening a White Ele
phant exchange was enjoyed and
carols were sung.
At the supper hour guests
were seated at one long table in
the dinning room centered with
a miniature tree encircled with
silver and red Christmas balls
and red tapers in red wooden
candelabra. Vigil candles inter
spersed with holly extended along
the table.
