office of the Htate hydroelectric
commission here yesterday. The
petitions contained 860 signa

virtually air. of . the agricultural
area In Lane county together with
the municipalities of Coburg, Cot
tage Grove, Creswell. Junction

It is proposed to purchase elec
trical energy either from the city
of Eugene or Bonneville.
The population or the proposed
district is 30,000 and the assessed
valuation $22,000,000. !
