Farrands" Happy To See Oregon's Farm Land Again LIBERTY Mr. and Mrs. Roy Farrand returned home Friday from Essex Junction. Vermont. where ; they spent nearly six months visiting hi father, F. H. Farrand, who is in poor health. They returned by the northern route, through Montreal. Toron to, Chicago, making stopoffs in Ohio and New York state. The last part of the trip was through North Dakota, Montana. Spokane, wasnington to Portland. - ; They state that they did not mind the winter as much , as ex pected as Vermont had no un usuauy nara winter though a good deal of snow. - They also believe there are less people on relief in Vermont than elsewhere and that distu Lance and unrest is not so prevalent among the Vermonters as noticed throughout the rest of the coun try. .
