Last Santiam Cap Agreement Signed The county court yesterday signed an agreement with the fed eral department of agriculture for the completion of the last gap In the North Santiam highway. The work, consisting of constructing a bridge and reinforcing the high way subgrade on either end of the structure, will cost $125,000. all to be borne by the federal bureau of public roads. The work is already under contract. The only responsibility on the part ot the county under the agreement is a promise to take over and maintain the road and bridge projects two years after they have been completed.
