; HUBBARD, March 25 Easter
will-bring a special program in
The Sunday school and regular
church services will be merged in
to one service, at which time mem
bers of the Sunday school will
give an Easter program. The pas
tor's sermon will be Included In
the program, as will several num
bers from the primary department,
a song from each class, several
vocal and instrumental solos and
a play. "We Carry On," by as cast
of 10. :
The play will follow the morn
ing sermon. After the services a
community basket dinner will be
served in the I. O. O. F. hail din
ing room, under the direction of
the Federated church guild. Those
in charge are Mrs. Glen Larkins,
Mrs. H. E. Adams, Mrs. George
Leffler and Miss Kathryn Hauk.

Good Attendance Is Had
At Assembly of God Meet
This Week at Silverton
SILVERTON, March 25 The
fellowship meeting of the As
sembly of God churches of north
ern Oregon, sponsored this week
by the local assembly of which
Rev. O. R. Cross is pastor, was
well attended. The Knights of
Pythias hall, where the meetings
were held, was filled and around
150 enjoyed the fellowship lunch
get-togethers.
There were about 25 pastors
present, representing territory
from Springfield to Toledo and
to Camas, Wash. Among the
speakers were Rev. Wesley Kauf
man, formerly pastor of the As
sembly of God church at Astoria,
who spoke on "The Revelation
of Christ" and Rev. Albert Dol
larhide of Corvallis, who's sub
ject was On the Perfection."
The' programs included special
music.

Word of Relative's Death

Korb received word from Burr
Oak. Kansas, of the death of bis
sister-in-law, Mrs. Robert Korb,
52, Sunday, March 21, of heart
trouble.
Mrs. W. O. Blankenship and
family have arrived from Wa
tonga, Okla., to Join her hus
band, who is employed on the
Frank Wied farm one mile north
east of Jefferson.

from its frame in Kidder haU on
the O. S. C. campus sometime be
fore 9 o'clock this morning. Pro
fessor J. Leo Fairbanks, head of
the college art department, report
ed to the Corvallis police depart
ment today. - . ' .
This Is the second time in three
weeks that art work on exhibit In
Kidder for the benefit of students
and townspeople has been stolen,
according to members of the art
department Instructional staff.
The local police were given all
available clues and will attempt to
stop this vandalism.
