A new county road map; de
veloped as a W PA project, upon
which Gordon Tower has been
wdrking for almost a year lis ex
pected to be
completed by Janu
ary l. The new map which will
show every road In the county
will give the county court as com
plete visual record ' of its Ihigh
ways for the first time.
On the map j the roads are to
be designated by the range In
which they lie. ! The county cov
ers five ranges." The roads will
be ' numbered - by the hundred
from 400 to 900. The first proof
sheets of the map Indicate j that
it will be an, aid to the court
in dedicating future roads and in
indicating ta road crews where
repairs shall be made. The use
of the map will alleviate the ne
cessity of cumbersom legal der
