Three cars were involved In an
accident at the alley intersection
on Court street between Church
and High, -streets, reports filed
with the city police yesterday

lem fire department answered a
call to the Salem Iron works at
State and Front streets at 3:55
o'clock yesterday, afternoon. The
fire which had broken out on the
roof of the building , was extin
guished before the department

eight fire trucks the city owns
