To the Citizens of the
'State of Oregon: '
In view of the fact that the Oregon State Fair, for 1936, Sep
; teniber 7 to 13. is in reality a celebration of the 75th anniversary
i of the observance of this fair, I- take great pleasure in announcing
that the City ot Salem is joining wholeheartedly . with the Fair
Management ia making this ; the most outstanding Fair in its
history.; " ; .
As'the Mayor of the City of Salem, and as official represent-
ative of .Its citizens, I wish .to take this . means, of ( extending to
each and every citizen the State a very cordial Invitation to
attend the fair this year. Itt factj-I would urge that you make
