concert plan is to make concerts
possible on & basis which elimin
ates all financial risk on the part
of any person, group or organiza
tion. The association is organized
on a . membership basis.'. Each
member who Joins pays annual
dues. Membership entitles one to
attend all of the concerts which
are presented by the association
each season without additional ex
pense. This membership la secured In
a one week's campaign beginning
September 21st and closing Sep
tember 2 6th. At the end of this
campaign the membership is clos
ed and no one can Join for another
year. Every dollar paid, into the
association. Is spent for artists,
musical attractions, end attending
local expense. Only members of
the association 'can attend the con
certs as there are no single admis
sions sold for any attraction under
this plan. A minimum of three ma

Barnes. The party of three sailed
from New York June 11 and after
a smooth crossing arrived in Ber
lin June 19. Mr. Barnes is foreign
correspondent for the New York
