State police are highly desir

who are the vicjims of bad check

selves are unwilling to cooperate
to the extent that the criminal

the state police told the Salem

He pointed out that the prin

that unless individuals are willing

bad checks, such action does not
come within the criminal law, but

Blossom Day Late
This Year, Belief
With quite a lot of snow still
covering the hills sections and
prospects that the weather will
not moderate suddenly, there is
little likelihood that Blossom day
this year can be held before the
last Sunday in-April or May 3.
Last year this outdoor fastival,
sponsored annually by the Salem
Cherrians. was held April 28.
King Bing Breyman Boise of
the Cherrians will shortly under
take a survey of the orchard dis
tricts to get a better line up on
possible time when the blossoms
will be at their best. He will also
undertake to outline a new route
for the Blossom day journey
through the Polk county hills.
