sharp breaks in prices of all
grains today, with corn pitching
downward 3 cents maximum.
Season low price records were
smashed by corn, and by oats
and rye as welL Scantiness of
livestock on farms, a circum
stance Implying greatly curtailed
use of corn, acted as a persistent
weight on values, and bo too did
indications of a large amount of
low grade wheat available for
feeding.
Corn closed nerrous, -3i
cents under Saturday's finish, De
cember 65-56, wheat -2
cents down, December 89-,
oats 1-1 off, and provisions un
changed to a rise of 20 cents.
