Large quantities of aTerage to short French combing 643 and finer territory wools moved at ad vancing prices the range 57- 62 cents scoured basis. Gardeners' and Ranchers' Mart PORTLAND, Ore., May 18.-() Asparagus was the principal item at today's session of the Gard eners' and Ranchers' market. Most sales were around $2 per pyramid for Mid-Columbia Pro duce while Canby stuff was being passed Tor a slightly lower price. as low as SO cents per dosen bunches. A new crop of celery from the south was steady at fl.50 per crate. Most green onions and radish sales were at 25 cents per dozen bunches, although some grades brought 35 cents. Sales were fair ly fast No local strawberries have ap peared on the exchange yet, but California berries were good and the price not prohibitive. The berries moved well around $1.80 per crate.
