heifer on the same farm which
gave birth to a calf. that Is well

METHODISTS ELECT
LHI DELEGATES
MOLALLA. Anril 4. Sibyl
Tucker, director of religious edu
cation for the Portland district,
and Dr. J. C. Harrison, superin
tendent of the district, both of
Portland,' will be guest speakers
at the Methodist church here Sun
day. Miss Tucker will speak at
the morning church hour, and Dr.
Harrison will conduct the annual
business meeting cf the church at
12:18 p. m. Miss Tueker will also
speak at Clarkess at S:45 a. m.
and at Cams at 8 p. m.
Mrs. Ethel Campion, superin
tendent of the Methodist Sunday
school, has , been elected delegate
to represent the local church at
the Oregon Conference of the
Methodist church in Salem in
Jane. Phillip Steinlsger was elect
ed alternate delegate.
At the Methodist "church the
work of laying a new floor in the
basement is almost completed. The
kitchen, has also been; enlarged
and remodeled. Labor and much
of the material for the work were
donated. . ' ; . "
