Mrs. ; Goodrich r (Miss Carrie
Deskln) and; Mr. . Goodrich were
united in marriage at the home of
the bride's mother in Newberr No
vember 19,: 1881 -and they moved
at onee to the farm in Dayton
Prairie where they a have since re
sided. Mr. Goodrich' Is 78 and
. Mrs. Goodrich is 71 and both are
well and take interest in i every
day affairs. ' '

Tille made a short talk, . making
mention of the value lires of sucn
persons as Mr. and '- Mrs. Good

ton. The flowers were all golden
and white crysanthemums.

and uncle. Mr. and Mrs. Phil Den

JEFFERSON, Nov. 20. Mrs:
Nora 'Norton of Portland, daugh
ter : of Mrs, Ida Thomson, was
one of the passengers in the
Southern Pacific bus which over
turned on" its side near Sunny-
side Friday night. She came to
Jefferson to spend the weekend
with her children, her sister and
mother. She returned home Sun
day evening but thought she
would not be able to resume her
work for a tew days because of
the bruises and shock received
in the accident.
