Butterfat took another one-cent
drop on the local market Thurs
day, making the third similar
drop in four days. Top quotation
yesterday was 18 cents. This
brought prints down to 19 cents
and cubes to 21 cents.
Wheat was boosted cent a
bushel, to 60 cents on white and
SS cents on red.

new low level for the season in
butter prices was reached at the
late session of the prodnce ex
change here, with cubes dropping
from to 1 cent a pound. Cali
fornia weakness was said respon
sible In some degree. The great
est loss was in the top score be
cause of greater increase in that
churning.
There was a further loss of 1
cent a pound in the price bid for
butterfat, along with a similar
cut in extra butter.
Market for eggs was holding ra
ther steady locally with practic
ally no change in either buying
or selling quotations during the
day. .
First cut in Tillamook cheese
prices sinee March 21 was an
nounced. The cut was 1 cent lb. A
further cut of H cent was an
nounced on the exchange here.

lirestock trade. Market was in
clined to rule weak.
Asparagus was showing little
change in price bnt recent ad
ranees appear to have carried the
market to such an extreme fig
ure that consumption was slow-
ing up. Only light arrivals kept
tue price from showing a loss.

down about 15c crate for 20s.
New potatoes were down to J 2
general low for Texan SO 3.
Old potatoes were very slow.
Dry onions moving better and
at steadier prices.
Green beans were sloW at 10

Rhubarb In active call at steady
prices.
Oregon cabbage, old crop, has
been advanced to 2-2 c pound.
