visited the Brush College booster
meeting Friday night, where a
potlack dinner was served, after
which an open meeting was held

river bottom farm has five perfectly-
developed heads weighing
approximately one pound each. It

Rally Day Observed

AIRLIB. Oct. 10. Sunday was
rally jlay at. the Lewisville Evan
gelical church and was well at
tended. An excellent program was
given in the morning with a bas
ket dinner at noon. In the after
noon Rev. Paul Petticord of Cor
vallis gave the sermon. Rev.
Stockard and family of Dallas and
his sister. Miss Stockard, a mis
sionary home on furlough from
Guatemala, also assisted.

by any organisation and promises

There will be a bazaar and con
cessions in regular fair style,

The Rebekah orchestra of Salem
Is scheduled to play; Jerry Sayler

Prune harvest Is ever and some
have disposed-of their crop at a
fair price, considering the condi
tion of the fruit, which was badly
damaged, owing to the heavy
rainfall. i
Everybody Is taking; advantage
of the good weather. Farmers are
busy with their fall seeding. Some
are getting out wood and there Is
quite a lot of remodeling on budd
ings and fences. (

thrown under the wagon and It
ran over him, badly bruising hia
back and shoulders, but luckily
breaking no bones. The team ran
about a quarter of a mile to the
barn without losing the load and
