given in the morning with a bas
ket dinner at noon. In the after
noon Rev. Paul Petticord of Cor
vallis gave the sermon. Rev.
Stockard and family of Dallas and
his sister. Miss Stockard, a mis
sionary home on furlough from
Guatemala, also assisted.

Prune harvest Is ever and some
have disposed-of their crop at a
fair price, considering the condi
tion of the fruit, which was badly
damaged, owing to the heavy
rainfall. i
Everybody Is taking; advantage
of the good weather. Farmers are
busy with their fall seeding. Some
are getting out wood and there Is
quite a lot of remodeling on budd
ings and fences. (
