(AP) A good demand for straw berries in the face of a short crop, the first harvesting of a large cherry crop, and indications of en abundant Pacific coast pear crop were reported today by the USDA bureau of agricultural economics cooperating with the O. S. C. ex tension serrice in a review of fruit markets. Though the moTement of straw berries increased rapidly last week, prices remained at $1.50 to $1.85 a crate to retailers.
