The cost of operating trucks under this law will be prohibitive: so far as the wood and travel truck owners, are concerned, the trucks will simply have, to be laid up under the new law.as.lt will be impossible to operate under such exhorbitant charges," Mr. Brown says. " Tire agents.' service station op erators and farmers with trucks are also urged to attend the meet ing. : - -r , If this law is enforced the towns and cities of the state will be without fuel supplies and hun dreds of people who are making only a bare living now with their trucks will be deprived of a means of livelihood," Mr. Brown states. Price of fuel will have to be raised to cover the greatly in creased cost of hauling, which will probably mean a 12 per cord increase in wood, Mr. Brown states. The bus and truck law will add an extra $15 per month road toll for the average truck, wood haul ers estimate. This will bring the yearly operation cost to around 1500, it is said. - XABXSH STAJIOBXJOAZ. H. B. Scieeereiem, pea tor, 11(1 TJnteau Salem, paoee e86. &IDPLB 6KOYK Caere, tekoel, 10, T. W. We intend to prove them to your satisfaction. First,we say that besides Standard there are several good non-premium gasolines on sale in this vicinity. We say also . . . there are many other gaso lines NOT SO GOOD. Even among the good gasolines there is a choice . . . not all are unqualifiedly good One may be unsurpassed in starting, an other in acceleration, another in anti knock, another in mileage. All the good gasolines can justly claim SOME good quailties But STANDARD GASOLINE is unsurpassed in ALL qualities 8 TAN DA R D O I L CO MP AN Y. OF C A L I F O R N I A
