He had written much fine poetry, shot through with the fire of his gen ius struck from the same mould from which came the brilliant at tainments of his cousin a few times removed, the great leader of the Union forces. m la General Grant had something of the same divine fire In his soul, for the world was surprised to find the masterpiece when, after his death, the book of his Mem oirs was published, and quickly achieved a sale in total copies reaching one of the highest points in history up to that time. S S The greatest surprise was the writing ability shown by the gen eral. He himself bad not realized his genius in that line, and no one else bad suspected It. The last chapters, and In fact most of them, were written a bis "sick bed, suffering from, the affliction that carried him away. - The tomb of Grant .and his wife, in the city of New Tork. facing the Hudson river. Is one of the architectural masterpieces lot Its kind in this country. On the day when the great parade or oat tleships steamed up to that point, after the termination of the war ' with Spain, it was estimated that (00.000 outsiders saw the tomb, to say nothing of the people of the metropolis. m H (Continued tomorrow.) HER DOUBLE CHIN IS VANISHING Shape Growing Normal "Why am I taking Kruschen Salts? Because I was getting so broad aexoes the hips I was asham ed of myself. I've been taking Kruscben about 2 months and they certainly are bringing my shape down to a normal condition and what is nice about them (to my way of thinking) is they haven't taken flesh from my cheeks but to my surprise my double chin is van ishing for which anyone should be glad." Mrs. P. E. Gardner. Wor cester, Mass. (Jan. 3, 1933). To lose fat and at the same time gain In physical attractiveness and feel spirited and youthful take one half teaspoonful of Kruschen in a glass of hot water before break fast every morning. A jar that lasts 4 weeks cos's but a trifle at any drugstore in the world but be sure and get Kruschen Salts, the SAFE way to reduce wide hips, prominent front and a double chin and again feel the joy of livings money back if dissatisfied after the first jar.
