E
PORTLAND. Feb. 27 ( AP)
Little change was apparent in lo
cal produce markets as the new
week opened..
Butter nikrket was fully steady
with 92 score In sufficient supply
for all needs of the trade. Under
grade stuff was In slightly small
er demand but unchanged prices.
No particular change of Import
ance was In sight.
Eggs were steady at unchanged
prices. Further declines were
hardly anticipated due to the con
tinuance of flow of new supplies
into storage. There was plenty of
fresh stuff all around, however,
and forecast as to price fluctua
tions was virtually impossible.
White Leghorn hens were re
ported In smaller supply on the
street and quotable all the way
from 8 to 11 cents, It was said.
Range mostly around 9 cents.
There continues to be some call
for turkeys, ranging 11 to II
cents dressed and 14 cents
alive.
