Archlo Parktr. Tetersn carrier, recently -retired at Mon mouth, was guest of honor. He was first president and organiser of the state rural carriers' organ ization. In Oregon. program included a talk by J. F. Santee, faculty member of the Oregon Normal school, a reading by Miss Donna Slrler, to cal numbers by the junior high school girls' quartette of Mon mouth, musical numbers by Mr. and Mrs. Giles of Independence and a plano-accordlon solo by Mrs. Charles Calbreath of Monmouth. O. A. Wolrerton, post master at Monmouth, welcomed the group. P. M. Schwelzer of Monmouth was elected president of the Trl- county association for the com Ing year; L. R. Hopkins of Cor TaULs, rice-president; and Harry K e s t e r, Monmouth, secretary treasurer. Officers chosen to head the Ladies' Auxiliary: were: Mrs. P. M. Schwelser, president; Mrs, L H. Shearer, Tangent, Ylca-pres-ldentf and Mrs. Milton Grant, Dal las, secretary-treasurer. Visitors present included Wil liam Robinson of Yamhill, pres ident of the state organisation; Frank N.
