Man son yesterday filed with the sher iff report of a minor accident which happened Wednesday a mile north of Salem on the highway and Involred unknown driver. C. P. Rodgers also filed report stat ing hia car was Involved in acci dent near the prison annex with ear-driven by a Mr. Mitchell of Dallas. Fire starting in a car at the Motor shop, 255 North Church street, yesterday forenoon while a blow-torch was being used to thaw out a radiator, was ex tinguished with & blanket before firemen arrived. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges. Hayward at Albany W. L. Hayward, northwest regional Boy Seout executive, and O. P. West. executive for Cascade area coun cil, will go to Albany today where Mr. Hayward will address a Joint meeting of the Rotary and Ki wants clubs in regard to the scouting program in this area.
