Mrs. Earl Allen delightfully entertained the Lyons Ladies' Three Links club Tuesday afternoon at her home. The time was spent sewing. Pres ent were Mesdamea R. A. Brown, Lynes, Elmer Hlatt. The Lyons community club held an all-day meeting at the church ball Thursday- with pot lock din ner at noon. The women hare se cured orders for sereral finished quilts and spent the day cutting and sewing blocks for the quilts. When cutting wood at his home Thursday, Alex Bodeker severed the flesh from the thumb ot his left hand, necessitating a doctor's care.
