Mrs. Bertha Qualey died at the home of her son, ivet umrsien en, following a brief illness from pneumonia. Mrs. Qualey came to Oregon 45 years ago and has lived most of that time in Silverton. She Is survived br her husband. John Oualev: four sons. Julius, Ivet and Isaac Christensen of King's Valley, and Martin Chris tensen of Monroe; daughter, Mrs. Emma Blinken of King's Valley. Three sisters and six grandchil dren also survive. ' Rev.
