Mr. Henriksen came 'to service Trinity church the first of the year in 1118. It was during his pastorate that Trinity congre- . gatkm grew from a small congre gation to one of the larger Lu theran assemblies on the coast. It was also through his effort that the present church building was erected. While at Silverton he served on the city council and was also president of the Silrerton chamber of commerce, then the Silverton Community club. In 1928 he resigned as pastor of Trinity church to . go to Park land, Washington, where he was field man for the Pacific Luther college for one year. Then he ac cepted a call to the pastorate: of Phinney Ridge church at Seattle where he served until he was forced to resign because of illness a year ago. Rev. Mr. Henriksen is survived by his? widow, three children, George Henriksen Jr., who is teaching at Benson In Portland; Mrs. Dora Nelson of Portland, and Mrs. Louise Ellingson of Decor- ah, Iowa. Mrs. Ellingson arrived tonight to attend the funeral. The Henriksens will be guests of Mr. and Mrs. M. Q. Gunderson during their stajr at Silverton WEST SALEM", Not. Mr. and Mrs. John V. Her husband will spend Thanks giving day with them. Some fine local talent will be heard at the community- club meeting Monday night, and a free holders' meeting will be held at the hall for a few minutes the same evening. Only those high school students living outside of district 14 will be permitted to ride on the car. The bus will leave the school at 3:45 o'clock, follow the Marion and Oreens bridge route, return and at 4:15, will load up the Tal bot and Ankeny Hill students.
