A new class In arts and crafts has
been started at tha Independence
high school under tha Instruction
of Mrs. Wheeler, teacher of home
economics. Tha first meeting was
held October 14 to find oat how
many were enrolling and what
they wished to mar. Tha class is
for any girl in Ua school. It Is
not authorised ly the school
board, and each gltl Is to pay her
own expenses.
The class will meet oa Tuesday
and Thursday nights daring the
sixth period. Those who attended
tha meeting were Vurla Becken.
