PORTLAND. Sept, 16 (AP)
Increased stocks of freshly
churned butter are noticeable In
the local trade. Late receipts
from out-state -points show a ra
ther liberal Increase over the pro
ceeding week and there was a
like gain in the churning of cen-
tralisers.
The country movement in this
direction is receiving aid from the
less keen demand from California
points although no late changes
of moment are reflected there.
Butterfat situation a p p e a r a
strong.
Market for eggs is generally
without ehaage In the local ter
ritory but appears to have reach
ed its immediate maximum gen
erally. There, remains a steady
tone In most markets. ,
Generally steady tone is contin
ued in the market for live chick
ens along the wholesale way with
recent prices on hens continued.
Gaining supplies are reiieciea
in the market for country killed
lamb as st result of the filling up
of the California demand. Prices
here arc fairly gteady but show a
general extreme of 9-9 He lb.
Hogs and veal are unchanged.
